Prayer Principles
Prayer is less about changing our circumstances and more about changing our perspective.
God's power is seen through righteous prayer.
What to pray? See Psalm 5:1
We pray to a perfect, holy, unchanging, living Father.
It's a way of life, not a ritual.
The point of prayer is not to get the right answers from God, but to have perfect and complete oneness with Him.
Just do it.
Prayer is how Satan's work is destroyed (2 Cor. 10:4)
It doesn't take the right amount of faith to pray, it takes faith in the right God.
Prayer is, simply put, pouring our your heart to God through praise, confession, thanksgiving, and requests.
Prayer changes you, prayer doesn't change God.
Prayer ought to be thoughtful and thanks-filled, not mindless repitition and selfish.
Ephesians 6:16-18
In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication.
Do you have a prayer need?
Do you want to pray for others?
